What happens to a dream deferred?

Does it dry up
like a raisin in the sun?
Or fester like a sore—
And then run?
Does it stink like rotten meat?
Or crust and sugar over—
like a syrupy sweet?

Maybe it just sags
like a heavy load.

Or does it explode?

Weekend Post: legends

He was the son of Odin and Jord, the earth goddess. Thor was the strongest of the Aesir, the collective name for the the principal race of Norse gods; they who lived in Asgard, and with the All-Father Odin, ruled the lives of mortal men. Known as the god of thunder, his hall is Bilskirnir, which is located in the region Thrudheim ("place of might").
Thor married the golden-haired Sif, a Goddess of fertility. He kept a mistress named Jarnsaxa (the "iron cutlass"), with whom he had two sons, Magni and Modi and his daughter is Thrud.Thor was usually portrayed as a large, powerful man with a red beard, flowing hair, hearty enjoyment of food and drink and eyes of lighting. Despite his ferocious appearance, he was very popular as the protector of both gods and humans against the forces of evil. He even surpassed his father Odin in popularity because, contrary to Odin, he did not require human sacrifices.
In his temple at Uppsala he was shown standing with Odin at his right side. The 11th century Christian missionary Adam of Bremen, on noting the great temple of the gods in Uppsala, Sweden, wrote, "Thor, they say, presides over the air, he governs the thunder and lightening, the winds and rains, fair weather and crops...If plague and famine threaten, a libation is poured to the idol Thor." This temple was replaced by a Christian church in 1080.

Weekend Post: Poetry

Dark Truth: BY Robert Service

Birds have no consciousness of doom:
Yon thrush that serenades me daily
From scented snow of hawthorn bloom
Would not trill out his glee so gaily,
Could he foretell his songful breath
Would sadly soon be stilled in death.

Yon lambs that frolic on the lea
And incarnate the joy of life,
Would scarce disport them could they see
The shadow of the butcher's knife:
Oh Nature, with your loving ruth,
You spare them knowledge of Dark Truth.

To sad humanity alone,
(Creation's triumph ultimate)
The grimness of the grave is known,
The dusty destiny await . . . .
Oh bird and beast, with joy, elance
Effulgently your ingorance!
Oh man, previsioning the hearse,
With fortitude accept your curse!

The poem express the Dark truth. Its states in the poem Could he foretell his songful breath
Would sadly soon be stilled in death. I like this part of the poem because it has a meaning to the word.

In America there is a high percentage of different culture. People come from all over the world to America. People come for better jobs and work. They come because their family is there and its more happier place. So there are a lot of Popular Culture. For example Woods spoke in a hushed room at the TPC Sawgrass clubhouse filled with his closest associates. He stumbled a few times as he read a 13½-minute statement in which he acknowledged he's been in therapy following string of affairs.

"I have made you question who I am and how I could have done the things I did," Woods said.

In today's world there are a a lot of teen issues. some of these teen issues is drugs. Drugs is one of the biggest problem we have with teens. The next issues is sexuality. That is a problem because girls are having baby s at 15,and 16 year old. this is some of the problems we are have with teen. The way we can deal with this problem is start by making more group so teens can get involved. For example the girls and the fourth teenager, a boy, were hanging out in Melbourne's downtown area — known for its shops and nightclubs — when they decided to cross the trestle around 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Lt. Curtis Barger said.
"The male made it across the tracks, turned around, heard the train, saw it and yelled for them to run," Barger said. "He then told them to jump."The girls did not have enough time

My favorite subject is Math. Math is my favorite subject because it easy and fun to do. In my math class I'm doing very good. I do all my homework and class work. Math is also my favorite subject is as to do with more number than words. Most people in my school {Benjamin Banneker} like math as their favorite subject. And besides who wouldn't like it in the first place. Every yearIi do better in math than in my other classes. So that why I love it.
